With roots in education and the arts, Becky has had a diverse career spanning the worlds of dance, non-profit arts administration, fitness and equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Passionate about creating inclusive classrooms for students of all ages and abilities, Becky has taught, choreographed and performed in both traditional and non-traditional settings across the United States. From 2018-2019, Becky was Faculty at InnerRhythms Dance in Truckee, California, where she taught all forms of pre-professional and recreational dance to students of all ages. Dancing since the age of three, Becky is trained in multiple dance mediums, from ballet, tap, contemporary and jazz to Latin, African, hip-hop, breakdancing and house, and has had the honor of presenting and dancing with programs such as aMaSSiTThe Bates Dance Festival and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Becky has trained under artists such as Dan WagonerNaby BangouraTodd EckertJardy SantiagoJoh Camara and Lizz Roman, and performed with various choreographers in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

After spending two years in the studio playing with the combination of different movement styles, beBE dance was born in 2012 with the debut of The Pack. Her unique style drew the attention of many, propelling her artistic career forward to being a Guest Artist with various local residencies, such as SAFEhouseArts, and presenting works across the Bay Area at venues such as the Walt Disney Family Museum, CounterPULSE’s 2nd Sundays, Works in the Works, Dance Mission’s New Choreographers’ Showcase and The Garage. Becky's fusion newest work, Rave Against the Machine, continues to push the boundaries of traditional modern and contemporary dance in a story about some of today's most pressing societal and political issues. Since returning to Concord in 2019, beBE dance has morphed into beBE dance BOSTON. Becky continues to explore the art of fusion dance, constantly seeking new ways in which to reinvent and reinvigorate the field of dance, while continuing to spread the joy of dance through her various services.

Becky is both an ACE (American Council on Exercise) and SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She holds her B.A. in Education and Dance from Bryn Mawr College, her M. Ed in Arts Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and her M.A. in Human Resources from the Carlson School of Management.
